HYDRA - Hydra / Land Of Money / Rock The World (2CD) - UK BGO Remastered Edition - LISTEN

Three albums (on two CDs) by an American band playing quite heavy, bluesy and decidedly guitar-driven rock in the vein of the heavier Allman Brothers Band, Blackfoot, solo Eric Clapton and Gary Moore, though echoes of Wishbone Ash (great playing for two lead guitars) and Uriah Heep can also be heard. Generally, however, it is simply nice, solid rock playing without fireworks or frills. (JL)
