Both albums (recorded in 1967-69) by an American formation harking back almost directly to the work and style of Vanilla Fudge - plenty of covers with the juicy sound of Hammond organ and rich vocal harmonies in the foreground. The almost classic debut is slightly better than the still decent second album. Recommended! (JL)
