FROST - Frost Music +2 - EU Eclipse Remastered Expanded - LISTEN - VERY RARE

A remastered and decidedly improved in every respect edition from the Eclipse label of the debut album, released in 1969 by Vanguard, by the classics of American heavy rock - at last with the full cover. A superb and, in sum, underrated debut by a very good band from Detroit, led by the excellent guitarist Dick Wagner (later in Ursa Major and the bands of Lou Reed, Alice Cooper and Peter Gabriel). The music on this, without a doubt the band's best album, is a combination of catchy compositions from the circle of melodic psychedelia and classic, heavy rock; heavily thickened rhythms, and of course the all-pervading, juicy and piercing guitar parts of the Cream, Amboy Dukes and early Grand Funk kind. There is not a single weak track on this excellent record! Additionally two live recordings from 1969, joined together, are included. A MUST! (JL)
