FLEUR DE LYS - Circles - Ultimate Fleur De Lys (2LP) - UK ORANGE VINYL Limited Press - LISTEN - LAST COPY

A two-disc (on orange vinyl) compilation by a legendary freakbeat/psychedelic British band, harking back to the style of The Who, Creation, Cream, and even Procol Harum. Besides several singles released under the band's name, it also contains tracks recorded under other names (Rupert's People, Chocolate Frog, Shyster), as well as two superb recordings with the vocalist Sharon Tandy. The group's bassist and occasional vocalist was Gordon Haskell. Two of the band's tracks ("Circles" and "Mud In Your Eye") appeared on the phenomenal box set "Nuggets Vol. 2" (Rhino). This is top-shelf playing! Highly recommended!
