EXHORDER - Slaughter In The Vatican / Law (2CD) - UK Dissonance Digipack Edition - LISTEN

A compilation containing the first two albums ("Slaughter In The Vatican" from 1990 and "The Law" from 1992) by a thrash metal band from New Orleans. The band is sometimes counted in the groove metal subgenre, whose main representative is Pantera, a friend of Exhorder. "The Law" includes a cover of Black Sabbath's "Into The Void". "Metal Hammer" magazine recently proclaimed Exhorder "the greatest thrash band you've never heard of". All the more reason to listen. (MU)
