ELTON JOHN - Empty Sky - UK DJM Records 1969 1st Press (STEREO VINYL in MONO COVER) - NEAR MINT VINTAGE VINYL

ANALOGUE SOUND! This is a very rare first British 1969 edition. "Empty Sky" is a very eclectic album, full of stylistic twists, yet very accessible and deeply satisfying to listen to - very typical of 1969! After hearing this very underrated LP it is somewhat easier to understand the popular anecdote that someone invited the singer to audition for King Crimson, as the successor to Greg Lake... Although the sleeve says mono, inside there is a stereo vinyl. Sleeve: EXCELLENT / Record: MINT-
