DEEP PURPLE - Live In Montreux, October 1969 - EU Sweet Leaf Limited Edition - VERY RARE - LISTEN

A limited, 78-minute CD, released in a small run, being a recording (taken from the mixing desk) of an excellent Deep Purple concert from the legendary casino in Montreux, Switzerland (the one later described in 'Smoke On The Water') from October 1969 - already in the classic line-up with Gillan and Glover - played a full eight months before the release of the album "In Rock". This is the only surviving full performance by the band from the first concert tour with I.G. and R.G. in 1969 and the only surviving recording of a live version of "Kentucky Woman" with Gillan on vocals! Besides, at the end of 1969 the band played somewhat more progressively than a year later! The sound quality is practically excellent! Note! The 11-minute version of the Stones' song "Paint It Black" was moved to the CD "Live In Amsterdam, August 1969", also released by Sweet Leaf Records! A must! NEW, SEALED. (JL)
