DEEP PURPLE - Early Years - JAP Remastered Card Sleeve Edition - LAST COPY

An excellent and quite inventive compilation from 2004, containing the most interesting tracks from the first three albums, with the vocalist Rod Evans and the bassist Nick Simper (1968-69). It was a very underrated line-up - a million times better than the one with Coverdale and Hughes! The record is very attractively released and contains several rare and unpublished mixes (some sound like other versions) and a NEVER PUBLISHED, QUITE DIFFERENT VERSION OF "Kentucky Woman"! A remastered Japanese 2008 edition, in a cardboard sleeve. (JL)
