CROW - Crow Music - SWE Flawed Gems - LISTEN - VERY RARE

On CD for the first time! It was this very band that in 1969 composed and recorded the then quite popular "Evil Woman" - a track known from the Black Sabbath debut (not to be confused with the song known from records by Canned Heat and Spooky Tooth)! A big deal! The very good debut album by the American group Crow contained a solid portion of heavyish and slightly bluesy rock (with Hammond organ), with elements of late psychedelia and a pinch of soul (trumpets on three tracks) - resembling the output of Steppenwolf, Vanilla Fudge and to some extent The Doors. This is the absolute canon of American playing from the late 60s! Highly recommended!
