COLLECTORS - Collectors / Grass & Wild Strawberries (1968-69) - SPA Edition - VERY RARE

A superb, psychedelic debut (with a 20-minute suite in the style of The Doors' "Celebration Of The Lizard") by Canadians who in 1970 changed their name to Chilliwack. Dreamy, melodic, though intense moods - at times garnished with a tasty flute part or sharp guitar... A bomb! The second album was still nice, but you could hear the inspiration of the work of Blood Sweat & Tears (brass instruments). Highly recommended! (JL)
