CIRCUS - Circus - EU Ethelion Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RARE

A remastered European edition, released in a gatefold sleeve, of the excellent and unfortunately only album, released in 1969, by a British progressive band led by the wind player Mel Collins - soon afterwards lured away from the band by Robert Fripp to King Crimson! Typically progressive playing with jazz influences and a few short ballads. The album contains, among other things, an absolutely stunning, almost heavy-rock, 8-minute version of "Norwegian Wood" by The Beatles and a brilliant rework of a jazz classic by Charles Mingus - one of my favourite progressive tracks 'ever'! This is the best-sounding reissue of this title! A must!
