CIRCUS - Circus +4 - EU Eclipse Remastered Expanded Edition - LISTEN - VERY RARE

A European edition, remastered and extended by four tracks (from 1968), of the excellent and unfortunately only album, released in 1969, by a British progressive band led by the wind player Mel Collins - soon afterwards lured away from the band by Robert Fripp to King Crimson! Typically progressive playing with jazz influences and a few short ballads. The album contains, among other things, an absolutely stunning, almost heavy-rock, eight-minute version of "Norwegian Wood" by The Beatles and a brilliant rework of a jazz classic by Charles Mingus - one of my favourite progressive tracks 'ever'! This is the best-sounding CD version of this title! A must!
