CHAMPIGNONS - Premiere Capsule - SWE Flawed Gems Remastered Edition - LISTEN - VERY RARE

Remastered edition, sounding and looking miles better (than the poor Radioactive label CD), of the only record, released in 1972, by a Canadian, French-speaking, progressive group strongly harking back to the style of King Crimson, Van der Graaf Generator and Jethro Tull, that is, flute, saxophone, nice guitars and eclectic compositions. The French language is no hindrance at all, and the band itself could create the right mood, as in the 11-minute, psychedelic 'Nawiedzony zamek', or in the tracks full of progressive action at the end of the album. Highly recommended! (JL)
