CHAMPIGNONS - Premiere Capsule - CAN Return To Analog Remastered Limited Press

Released in 1972, the only record by a Canadian, French-language progressive band strongly referencing the style of King Crimson, Van der Graaf Generator and Jethro Tull, that is flute, saxophone, nice guitars and intricate compositions. The French language does not get in the way at all, and the band could create the right mood, as in the 11-minute, psychedelic 'Haunted Castle', or in the progressive, action-packed tracks at the end of the album. A remastered, limited, numbered Canadian 2019 reissue, on black vinyl. Highly recommended! (JL)
