CARGO - Cargo - EU Sun King Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RARE

The only album by this Dutch band is simply a model of European, heavy progressive rock and at the same time one of the 5-10 best guitar albums in history! The vinyl is filled with only four tracks, lasting in turn: 11, 8, 5 and 15 minutes! The greatest attraction of the record is the superb and at the same time very atmospheric guitar improvisations backed by a very solid and juicy rhythm section. If someone would like to hear what a combination of the style of Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin and Wishbone Ash might sound like - they simply must have this album! The nearly 16-minute "Summerfair" closing the record is one of the best rock numbers I have heard in my life! A reissue of the vinyl released in 1972 by EMI Harvest, new, unsealed. An absolute must!
