BLACKFOOT SUE - Nothing To Hide +5 - US Mandala Expanded Edition - LISTEN - VERY RARE

The very successful debut album from 1973 by a British hard rock formation, unfortunately much forgotten today, containing 10 truly nice, guitar-driven tracks such as the opening, heavy "Messiah", the swinging "Country Home" and the massive "The Spring Of '69". Classic, great, hard rock playing with glam influences reminiscent of the output of Sweet, Slade, Nazareth, and at moments even the American Montrose! In addition this American CD includes 5 tracks from singles, among them the band's best-known track, the very Slade-like "Standing On The Road" - from the group's first single, released in 1972, and decidedly belonging to the classics of the genre! Recommended.
