ALICE THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS - Alice Through The Looking Glass - US Lion Edition

CD debut of the charming first album by the songwriting duo Pete Howell and John Ferdionando (Ithaca, Agincourt, Friends and Tomorrow Come Someday), being the musical score to a stage play based on Lewis Carroll. Released in 1969 in 80 copies, this very subtle, fairy-tale album resembled the work of very early Pink Floyd, Donovan or The Moody Blues and combined elements of British folk and light psychedelia. In addition, the recording used backwards tapes, processed vocals and excerpts from the stage play. Plus 11 previously unreleased minutes. Highly recommended! (JL)
