THEM (see also: Belfast Gypsies / Van Morrison) - THEM - Belfast Gypsies (2LP) - Mono-Tone Records Press - LISTENprice: 200,00 PLN / 50,00 EUR
An excellent album - recorded already without Van Morrison, produced by Kim Fowley and released under the oh-so-misleading title... "Them" - but under the banner of Belfast Gypsies. Very dynamic rhythm'n'blues/freakbeat with an admixture of early psychedelia. A two-record edition (2LP). The second LP contains, among other things, the demo "I Want You" from February 1966, an early version of "It's All Over Now, Baby Blue", as well as an alternative mix of "People! Let’s Freak Out ", which was released (without the band's knowledge) by Island under the name Freaks Of Nature. A revelation! (JL) New, sealed. -
