PAN Y REGALIZ (see also: Maquina) - PAN Y REGALIZ - Pan & Regaliz +1 - EU Magic Potion Limited Edition - VERY RARE - LISTEN
A new, limited European edition of arguably the best progressive album ever made in Spain! Released in 1971, the band's only LP combines classic prog in the style of very early Jethro Tull with psychedelic, drug-fuelled atmospheres à la Pink Floyd of 1968-69. Charming flute parts, ever-present wah-wah guitar, an interesting English vocal, and at times trance-like, psychedelic rhythms. The original vinyl on the Dimension label in great condition costs nearly 1500 euros! A bonus track from the A-side of a 1971 single is also included. An absolute must! (JL)
