HACKENSACK (see also: Samson NWOBHM) - HACKENSACK - Up The Hardway - EU Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
A reissue of the sole studio album by an English hard-blues band - stylistically referring to the work of Free - with occasional influences of Wishbone Ash. This almost classic whole was produced by Derek Lawrence (Deep Purple, Wishbone Ash). Eight years later the vocalist Nicky Moore replaced Bruce Dickinson in Samson. Recommended. -

HACKENSACK (see also: Samson NWOBHM) - HACKENSACK - Live The Hard Way - US Digipack - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Unreleased, live material recorded in 1973 - still before the only official album. Raw, but very energetic, heavy-rock playing with a bluesy feel. This 74-minute CD contains a very nice, somewhat raw but highly enjoyable recording of a performance from Switzerland in 1973 and a 30-minute fragment of a concert from Nottingham, recorded in the same year, technically minimally poorer. Recommended! -
HACKENSACK (see also: Samson NWOBHM) - HACKENSACK - Give It Some (Unreleased Tracks 1969-1972) - US Digipack - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Unreleased material from before the debut record. The digipak is a collection of 15 rare, quite professional recordings from 1969-1972 showing the group from a much stronger side than on their only official LP 'Up The Hardway' (1974) and, on top of that, not shying away from instrumental parts. What a pity that Hackensack did not record an album in 1970, or even in 1972! Recommended!
