The band's fourth album, from 1973, with a new line-up - Darryl Way's place was taken by the then very young Eddie Jobson, and the result was a great, very dynamic record (lots of guitars, lively drumming) with the stunning, 11-minute, epic "Metamorphosis". CURVED AIR - CURVED AIR - Curved Space & Infinity (Rarities Series Vol. 2) (2CD) - UK Press - UNIKALNY CDprice: 120,00 PLN / 30,00 EUR
A compilation album where the very division into two discs – "Curved Space" and "Infinity" – suggests a conceptual distinction between more "earthly" prog rock and freer, almost cosmic experiment. The first disc is closer to the tradition of British progressive rock of the 70s. The second disc ("Infinity") is already decidedly more open material – at times brushing against ambient, jazz improvisation or even proto-electronics. ONLY ONE COPY! New, sealed. -
CURVED AIR - CURVED AIR - Air Conditioning +11 (2CD) - UK Esoteric Remastered Expanded Digipack Edition - LISTENprice: 85,00 PLN / 21,25 EUR
The wonderful, progressive debut by this British band is one of the most thrilling albums of that period. The band combined, in a very skilful and original way, elements of rock, ballad, classical music and folk, and everything was kept in a rather dark and psychedelic mood. My favourites are the superb, dark, 6-minute "Hide And Seek" that opened side B of the original vinyl and the perhaps even better "Situations". In truth every one of the compositions here deserves attention... It is simply an album without weak points! In addition, eleven previously unreleased tracks (alternative studio versions and recordings for the BBC). -

The wonderful, progressive debut of this British formation is one of the most thrilling albums of that period. The band combined elements of rock, ballad, classical music and folk in a very skilful and original way, and all of it was kept in a fairly dark and psychedelic mood. My favourites are the track opening side B of the original vinyl, the superb, dark, 6-minute "Hide And Seek", and the perhaps even better "Situations". In fact every composition here deserves attention... This is simply an album without weak points! Remastered Repertoire edition, in a gatefold card sleeve. A must! -

CURVED AIR - CURVED AIR - Phantasmagoria (CD+DVD) - UK Esoteric Remastered Expanded Digipack Edition - LISTENprice: 85,00 PLN / 21,25 EUR
A remastered edition of the classic third album by this progressive band. "Phantasmagoria" was another great and varied progressive record, featuring such wonders as the 6-minute, changeable "Marie Antoinette" and the beautiful ballad "Melinda (More Or Less)" - one of the most beautiful moments in Curved Air's entire output! The first three or four albums belong to the broad canon of the genre; especially thanks to the nice, though sometimes too insistent violin parts (Darryl Way - later in Wolf) and interesting, charming compositions. -
