BOOKER T. & THE MG'S - BOOKER T. & THE MG’S - Original Album Series 1962–1968 (5 CD) - EU Card Sleeve Boxprice: 100,00 PLN / 25,00 EUR
A great five-disc set documenting the golden period of Booker T. & the MG’s – from the classic "Green Onions" to increasingly developed soul and funk. It is an essential item for lovers of instrumental soul, with the characteristic organ of Booker T. Jones, an excellent rhythm section and the sound of the famous Stax label. -

Released in 1970 by the label Stax, the eleventh album by the Americans contained nothing less than an INSTRUMENTAL VERSION OF THE BEATLES' "ABBEY ROAD" - an album released only a year earlier! The record has practically no vocals, while the arrangements of the individual tracks have been slightly altered, though all the melodic lines are preserved. Naturally this version does not even have a chance of competing with the original, but it is a kind of curiosity that is certainly worth getting to know. CD from the label Stax.
