A revelation! This German record knocked me and many of my friends off our feet. Behind this strange name hides one Rainer Denger alias Meister Jakob - a former member of the band German Bonds. Accompanied by unknown German musicians he created an incredible album, combining the moods of the work of Hendrix, Iron Butterfly and the debut of Deep Purple (overdriven guitars, pulsating organ) - with acoustic guitars, psychedelic sound effects and references to all kinds of musical genres appearing out of the blue. The result is simple but totally surreal, narcotic music that is hard to tear yourself away from! A MUST! A 2021 reissue, no longer in production, limited to 500 copies, on light blue vinyl. (JL)
