BAKER GURVITZ ARMY (see also: Gun / Cream) - BAKER GURVITZ ARMY - Baker Gurvitz Army +1 - UK Esoteric Expanded Edition - LISTENprice: 70,00 PLN / 17,50 EUR
Remastered British edition of the debut album by the formation founded by drummer Ginger Baker and Adrian and Paul Gurvitz (both ex-Gun and Three Man Army). The record, released in 1975 and thoroughly successful, was filled mainly with rhythmic and almost hard rock material. Worthy of note are Baker's lively drumming and several truly great tracks, such as the dynamic "Help Me", the rhythmically broken "Love Is", and above all the best on the album, the eight-minute "Mad Jack". In addition, this attractively presented CD includes a live version from 1975 of the track "Memory Lane". Recommended! -
