This is one of the most cult and rarest British private press records of the 70s, and among collectors it long functioned almost as a legend. The album was recorded using practically home methods by Oliver Chaplin and the whole thing was created in a spirit of complete independence as a mixture of psychedelia, acid folk and experimental blues. The recordings were made on a 4-track TEAC tape recorder, without synthesisers, often using a single microphone. This gives the record a very raw, organic and at times even "hallucinatory" sound. Short pieces flow one into another and the music at times recalls the style of Syd Barrett, and at moments the experiments of Captain Beefheart.
