Rock on vinyl is a real treat for collectors and lovers of analogue sound and the unique atmosphere of the 60s and 70s. It was in an atmosphere of rebellion, sonic experiments and concert smoke, when music shaped the identity of a generation, that the timeless legends of the scene were born. In our range you will find vinyl records with brilliant classic rock from the British and American giants, as well as rock gems from Europe, Australia, Japan and South America. For us, the sound and spirit of the era matter most, and at Megadisc you can also (or perhaps: especially) discover rock music by fantastic artists from outside the mainstream. We focus on hand-picked titles: original period pressings in excellent condition, and limited (including live) reissues that are hard to find on the market.
Whether you are a fan of classic rock, guitar improvisation or psychedelic experiments – you are sure to find something for yourself in our rich and carefully selected vinyl collection.
Unique rock vinyl records from the golden age of sound
Our rock vinyl records from the 60s and 70s are the perfect choice for those who want not only to take a trip down memory lane, but also to explore the golden age of music. The Megadisc vinyl collection fully reflects the variety of genres of a bygone era. We have beautifully preserved original Beatles albums from the 60s (from Japan, the USA and the UK, among others), but also a recent limited reissue featuring the Japanese concerts by the 'Fab Four' from their 1966 tour, and a collection of unpublished and still unreleased recordings from the archives of the British BBC.
You will also find live Led Zeppelin editions in beautiful laminated sleeves, as well as plenty of early, beautifully preserved Rolling Stones pressings – real rarities for connoisseurs. We have been collecting records ourselves for many years, so we know what this game is all about :-)
Rock vinyl records for connoisseurs - rare editions and forgotten legends
Besides cult titles, our range also hides rock vinyl records by fantastic bands whose music never broke through to the mainstream. We offer real gems: underrated legends, forgotten debuts, one-off studio projects and records released only in certain countries. Here you will find, for example, a reissue of the only album by "Andromeda", worth 1000 euros in the original, on 180-gram vinyl - a tasty morsel for lovers of heavy rock in the style of Cream or very early Led Zeppelin. Fans of German krautrock will be delighted with reissues of records by Ash Ra Tempel and Can, as well as many lesser-known and often better bands!
There is also no shortage of titles from Eastern Europe (especially from Poland, Czechoslovakia and Hungary), records usually played to death and simply worn out, but available here in really excellent condition! We also recommend, among others, the reissues of all three catalogue albums (from 1972-1975) by the legendary Romanian folk-prog band Phoenix!
